To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens a Card Account.
What this means for you: When you open a Card Account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see a copy of your driver's license,
Social Security Card or other identifying documents. Approval of your request requires passing our identification verification process.
Your card may be issued by Metropolitan Commercial Bank, Member FDIC pursuant to each bank's license from Visa U.S.A. Inc. If you choose to apply for a Card, your application will be assigned to one of the issuers. Certain fees, terms, and conditions are associated with the approval, maintenance, and use of the Card. You will be able to review the terms and conditions and fee schedule for your Card account during the application process and before you submit the application. In addition, a printed copy of your issuer's terms and conditions and fee schedule is enclosed with each Card when mailed and is always available online below and after you log into your Card account.
